Anyone track day there Fabia vrs?

Featured Replies

Own two vrs’s  recently purchased black Fabia real gd spec 250hp  365 lbfts love it goes like stink. Going to keep it clean and daily. But have a silver which I’ve owned for a few years up for sale atm just 180hp body work isn’t the best. Was thinking of stripping it out and throw few more mods at it  and making it a track day car. Anyone track there’s have pros and cons about them.

There are SO many cars that are way better on the track than the Fabia, it's too heavy and handles too badly, try something small and French if you really want to do track days.

My opinion? Track days are for chasing yourself. Sorting awkward corners that you keep getting wrong, Learning entrance speeds. Learning how brave you are. Learning how much braver the car is than you. Chewing the fat with other drivers. Having fun. Never how much faster you are than other guys. Always about how much you can push your own abilities, find your and the cars limits. As such the car I do them in is irrelevant. I have as much fun in in a fairly standard ancient MX5 as in my seven.
