i know of a definate brand new altinator in a breakers yard somewhere near horsham where my furby was taken. Sorry i dont know the name of the place.

Mate, my car needs a new alternator and the cheapest I can find is

hi. thats a silly price they are rippin you off, the price is from a main dealer ,they are top notch garage but they are not giving it away, they are fitting a power steering sensor&alternator with labour its £317 ,so by your price im getting a bargain im going to book it now.

I think the TDI uses a heftier alternator (90 amps?). So I guess that's why.
