Bored this morning and decided to have a cleaning bonanza on the Superb.

1) Rinse

2) Wash with Autoglym shampoo

3) Rinse

4) Squeegy excess

5) Chamois

6) Autoglym Super Resin polish

7) Autoglym Extra Glos protection (buffed with electric buffer)

8) Autoglym showroom finish aerosol

9) Take pics...........

10) Bird **** on bonnet:eek:

take alook at www.polishedbliss.com and stop using a squeege and chamios. there are far better tools for the job

Noticed in this week's Auto Express that they rated 'Comma Top Gloss Car Polish' in their mega test - beat the likes of Autoglym for life of the shine & water beading

My Vrs is my first black car and I can say what a pain it is to keep looking clean! I would really appreciate it if you could post a full side photo of your car as I'm really considering buying the A8 wheels for mine. Be good to see the effect against a black car. The only thing holding me back is the very shiny appearance. How have you found them?!

Been to Halfrauds and got some Meguires stuff. Picked up Gold Class shampoo, liquid wax, quick clay detailing, ultimate wash mitt, plush terry towel and a halfrauds polishing mitt. cost £62 in total, which wasn't actually too bad for halfrauds. Just waiting for some nice weather and I'll see how it compares to the Autoglym I always use.
