A week or so I said on this forum I was irritated by the lack of a clock on the radio of my new Fabia VRS and wondered if there was a fix I could carry out. Nothing except suggestions to buy a new unit or get a stick-on clock from Halfords which is a rather tacky solution!

As others were just as annoyed as me I emailed Skoda at the weekend and to my surprise got a phone call from Customer Care this afternoon. The lady had checked out my complaint and agreed that it was not an option to fit a stick-on clock to such a smart car. She apologised that there was not a retrofit available and would pass on my complaint to the factory with the suggestion that new Skodas be fitted with a clock on the radio or the dash where it can be seen by driver and passenger alike.

I am totally impressed by Skoda for talking to me so quickly with the promise to pass on my comments and those at Briskoda which replied to my thread. Well done, Skoda!
