SE business V SE Technology

Featured Replies

HI i am after some help, i have bought a 17 plate superb SE Business ED, i was on the skoda website asking if they can tell me the exact spec of the car, i told them it is Reg and they said it is the SE Technology ED,  but when i look at there site the SE Technology only goes up to 1.6 engine, but the one i am getting has a 2L diesel

so are they basically  the same ED just called different .

also is there somewhere i can go where if i put in the reg or chassis number it tell be what the car was built with

thanks

Not sure if you are buying from a dealer or privately, but when I bought mine ex-demo from a dealer they sent me a pdf of the spec sheet. If buying privately, maybe you could find out who the original dealer was and ask them to send it to you? I'm not aware of any public websites that would give this level of detail. Good luck.

hi, i am buying it from an approved used Skoda Dealership

Good news - that should make life easier. Just call your salesperson and get them to email you the Specification Sheet. It's a long document that shows the code and description of everything your car left the factory with, as well as the VIN and some other stuff. Mine is about six pages long from memory.

If I recall correctly, the SE Business model was renamed SE Technology  some time in 2017 with no change in specification. There have been a few variations due to component supply issues though; wheels and roof rails went to cheaper versions, some cars got free leather and power tailgate.

hi,  yeah the car i am getting has full leather seats

Try National Tyres site.

Put the reg number in and it should tell you whether it’s business or technology.
