GPS tracker connection & warrany ?

Featured Replies

I could only imagine a warranty issue if fitting this tracker affected or damaged another component on your car, and then only the system compromised.

Same as an aftermarket dash cam/stereo/tow bar/wheels etc.

Thanks @Kenny R !

You’re presumably aware that the Kodiaq already has built in GPS tracking and geofencing via Skoda Connect?

If you have either of the sat nav systems, yes.  But if you don't have them, basically the Bolero system, then you will not have GPS.

I hadn’t thought of that before. So with an SE don’t you get the position of your car, or ability to set warning if car goes out of a certain area functions using Skoda Connect on your phone?

Correct.  You need to add the Amundsen to your car to get this.  Annoyingly, you have all the buttons, including the light beside the SOS button, but nothing happens when you press any of them.  Would have been nice to at least turn that light off!
