Hi all. After recent cooling issues, I took a look at the thermostat housing to find that some sort of monkey had been there before me. All three securing bolts were different, 2 of which I'm sure we're previously used in some sort of flat pack furniture...go figure!

Anyway, I want to change the housing, so headed to everyone's favourite auction site, where I found plenty, all looking basically the same, picturing both parts of the housing ( the part actually holding the thermostat and the part it bolts to, which is the mounting for the temperature sensor).

My question is, if anyone has purchased this, do you get both parts of the housing, or just the part with the thermostat.

I've tried messaging the seller I want to by from, but they're not exactly quick in replying, and I kind of need to have this in the next couple of days if possible.

Any help or information would be gratefully received.

Usually it’s sold as the complete assembled unit. 

So both parts that bolt together, with the thermostat, but less the temperature sensor...?

The genuine part used to include the sensor too and wasn’t expensive. 

Search for part number 047 121 111S.

That should include everything.

After having had three failed patern ones from ECP (all failed at the same point) I would only buy a genuine one

Yeah I bought one and it came with everything including a new O-ring for the mating surface.

For as long as you can get them anyway.
