Sportline in Race Blue?

Featured Replies

going to buy new FL superb sportline 272. Not sure about colour - hesitating between moon white or new-old blue race.

What do you think about former and especially the latter? There are so many white cars nowadays and not sure if can be kept clean easily. Blue is a new colour for superb, but there are many octavias, scalas etc. Also not sure if it looks nice in sunlight.

Which one would you choose and why?

I dont like greys (audi does it better...) and red is more expensive option in my country.

Personal choice but I’d go for the blue. No reason other than I prefer non white/silver/grey colours.

nice that you have the option, last time I looked it wasn’t an option in U.K.!

Just checked UK configurator and it is available for Sportline (Plus). ;) New colour since FL.

I'd definitely go for the blue!

1st, because Iike blue in general.

2nd, because I currently have a Moon white, and even with mud flaps (F+R), it's quickly dirty exactly as black cars. 🙄

Note I didn't choose the color. When I signed the PO, the car was almost on the assembly line... 😉

well, I was considering meteor grey but it looks fantastic under specific circumstances... otherwise it is simply weird. I would choose it if it was metalic ;)

I think the race blue cheapens the look of the superb. I had a fl octy vrs in race blue which suited it.  My mk3 superb sportline was black which looked very stealth and quite nice.  I certainly wouldnt chose race blue even if i could before.

Hard not to agree. It reminds me old octavias.

Black looks very "suspicious" and hides black trims (but I still like it!). Anyway I can't order it because it requires a lot of care to keep it pretty (and I am rather 3-min-wash-once-a-month-man).

BTW, some pictures of Superb FL in white. Quiet aggressive.

Still considering meteor, though.

If i had the choice again and i was to buy another superb it would prob be a shade of grey. White like black is a pita to keep clean.

I have a seat leon st cupra 300 now in grey and really like the colourIMG_20190715_174256__01.thumb.jpg.723a991f82209f3819ad0467fb26a145.jpg

That's exactly what I was going to do at the beginning. But after seeing them live on sportlines I didn't like them that much.

Quartz is too dark, cold and falls into green. And hides trims. Business grey is too light and doesn't look that nice (on SL). However both are perfect for standard Superbs.

Seat's and audi's dark grey is much better and warmer IMO. Your Leon looks great in that colour.

With sportline trim, those black items contrast well with white (moon white), blue and red IMO. If you want it to look contrasting, it would be one of those colours.

Or dragon green lol. Then the whole car stands out.
