Hi guys,

 

I have searched for an answer for this question but cannot find one.

 

my lower intercooler pipe popped off the other day so I have purchased a new pipe & 2 wire clips.

my local garage has fitted it but the new pipe has popped off like the last one.

 

do these just push in or is there some proper way to fit it?

It's the fitting on the intercooler that is worn, not the pipe. Self tapping screws are a widely accepted bodge.

so a new pipe was pointless.

does anyone have a photo of which way the retaining clips fit on please?
