Can I just ask if many of you have had any problems with theft on your car?

Only asking because the other night someone tried to drill my lock and caused about 4 or 5 deep scratches down the door :( made me feel sick only had the car less than 1 year. hope word is not round that they are pretty quick.

Any ideas what it would cost for a new lock?

and 1 last question if you will has anyone had there seats cleaned what do they come out like after being wet mine are in a very very bad state at the moment.

is it just the actual lock part thats damaged?

if it is then for around £7 you can buy a de-lock kit from any VW dealer which consists of - a plastic cap (unpainted), a metal disc and a metal barrel

it takes around 5 mins to fit these to the car and will stop them doing it again

make sure you carry a spare battery for the remote though (or tape it under the car somewhere)
