Do anyone knows what this thing is? is it an alarm sensor or a button for something? i have seen the same on Superb II also.

Probably the button for deactivating the interior monitoring.

Yes it is

I believe you also can double click on the  lock button on the key fob, this will also lock car and activate the alarm but not the interior sensor. 

The second press also deactivates the deadlock security.
