Anyone around dublin have carista? Would be interested in playing around with a few settings in the car. 

I was talking to some Spanish guys a while ago and although they spoke near perfect English they thought  Superb was pronounced,   'S' uperb !

Sorry I am nowhere near Dublin, but you should be able to buy the Carista bluetooth connector without laying out too much dosh. I have one but I have not used it to change any settings. I use mine with the VAG DPF app to check the condition of the diesel particulate filter. From what I have read in these forums Carista may not be ideal for changing settings, as I believe there are extra costs involved in the Carista app according to what you want to change. You would probably be better off looking for someone who has VCDS.
