good evening having this issue at present on skoda octavia rear light n/s Rear anyone had this issue 

Not had it happen to me personally but something similar happened to my wife's Peugeot 308 cluster when the Earth pin burned out - a common fault it seems

 

I resoldered the pin and it's been fine since (touch wood).

 

The accepted proper fix for the Peugeot was to wire a direct Earth connection rather than use the harness so if it goes again I might go down that route - worth a look in the case of the Octavia..?
