I wish i could find a Bluetooth version of OBD

because OBD II not working on Felicia.

Bluetooth is just a method of communication between car and laptop/smartphone/tablet. It has nothing to do with OBD type.

I was deceived by this

https://www.outilsobdfacile.com/location-plug-connector-obd/Skoda-felicia

''The OBD2 connector is located on the passenger side''

and i believed that i have OBD II so all i have to do is to buy an ELM 327 scanner and connect my cellphone or tablet and via android applications i can do this in my dashboard:

but NO. unfortunately i can not do it because the ELM 327 can't be connected with my ECU no matter if it's Bluetooth or Wifi,i can show this by photos.

i said for Bluetooth because in the middle of the road i don't have a Wifi connection, only Bluetooth is available.

Here are the differences between OBD 1 and OBD 2

I don't have an OBD II so my dream crumbled...

The Internet is NOT the mother of knowledge (Wikipedia included) nor the example of honesty. You should have known that.

Before internet we had books and the ''may i ask you'' system to the mechanics but many times the internet ''gives us a hand'' as we say here.

Below is the characteristic example:

I should have read that

nevertheless if a Felicia owner want to install some of those HUD devices (for example) let's keep in mind that they will not work for him.

We have not an OBD II and the manufacturers of these products say it clearly.

OBD2 working mode are not compatible with follow vehicles:

Let's hope that via Google search a future Felicia buyers will read this and will save time plus money.

So since those OBD II devices are ''No Go'' let's start figuring what else can we add in our console...

Add a TC-6 computer + associated sensors for Felicia if you can find and buy one.

Anything more fancy like a big color graphic display is too complex for you to handle, unless you are very proficient in electronics and programming.

Unfortunately my up an left side for the on-board is ''taken'' for the 2nd alarm indicator and a digital thermometer for an antifreeze leak.

My ''dream'' was to have an OBD II monitor in the console but since i learned ''by the hard way'' that i can not do it so i have to improvise.

Here is an older photo of my console

still i can not admit that i can not have a screen with an application like Torque etc.

@Pickupman : sorry, my intention was not to ''ruin'' your thread but google search will help many Felicia owners to learn somethings from here (as i did in the past).
