Skoda Octavia tuning?

Featured Replies

Hi. I was after a vrs or superb 280. Unfortunately I just can't save enough up to afford either (kinda set on a virtual cockpit after test drives and they are all pretty pricey with that option). I have 23k saved up. I've noticed an sel 190 TSI for sale with VC, is it an option to get that tuned somewhere near a vrs (and will the handling be up to it?). I'm just down from the Skoda specialist in Daventry so thought this might be an option on my limited budget?

I believe that engine is more designed for economy than power running a Miller cycle compression so not sure how it would respond to an ECU tune rather than the Vrs245 which gives a realistic 300bhp and 450nm just with a remap. The good news is should have IRS (independent rear suspension) so should ride and handle better than less powerful models.:)

You can get a new vRS for 23k

Interesting, where did you get this quote from?

Cheers

drive the deal, there ar elots of others, try CarWow, drive the deal, get a quote put your detail in and they'll ring you, you can even place an order online. MIght be a to travel for pickup as it's selected dealers across the country but I wouldn't mind doing a long drive in a new car to try it out!

Brilliant. Thanks

Drive the Deal .... had the best prices I found.

Dealers claim that they can't buy the cars at the prices DtD are offering ... yet they are the same Dealers who are offering the prices!

You just hold your ground and place the price you will buy on the table ... don't talk extras until the car price is agreed.
