Remove the rust and some copper grease quick and easy new tyers are next for front 

Hey everyone,

im pretty new here and this will be the first time I mod a car. I wanted to know how reliable xenon or LED lights are on a MkII 58 plate Octavia? I know you can get headlight conversion kits but I was wondering if I could just put xenon or led lights straight into the stock headlights? Will they blow pretty quickly? Can I do it cheaply without continuously replacing the bulbs? Any help would be great and any ideas on other first mods would be sweet.

A few more bits I have done the past few months.

Front engine cover and white stickers and blacked out reflector strip off superskoda with their black and white reflective vrs badges 

 

So I been away for quiet some time. Things I have done to the car I have put a turbo blanket on from forge motor sport on its a nightmare to fit for such a simple bit of kit no massive improvements in prefromance just stops heat sink.

I have also just had a stage one custom map done to the car it had a healthy start point making 250bhp after mapping it made 312 which is a good improvement.The car feels great just saving up for the dsg to get done next.
