Power (Electric) windows buttons do not work

Featured Replies

Guys,

before posting this thread I did some research about how to set the button for the basic setting of One touch and comfort but nothing helping me. So please I need help from the expert or experienced people.

My rear passenger side button works only to roll up the window, it doesn't work at all to roll down the window

rear driver side only works One touch for rolling down and comfort for the closing.

front driver and passenger side work fine.

So what do you think I should do now. thank you in advance.

Disconnect battery on 10-15 minutes and check how be work after.

I hive given it a go, but no luck.

Try holding the unlock button down on the key fob until all windows are fully open. Then hold lock button on key fob until all windows are closed. Repeat this a few times and then see how you go.

This fixed my passenger front window whose auto function had stopped working.

try re calibrating the windows by putting your key in the driver side and turn it till the windows goes down and leave the key turned for about 10 seconds then do the same and turn the key to lift the windows back up and leave the key turned for 10 seconds.

let me know if that has worked.

My method recalibrates the windows. That's what froggy8 is suggesting but he is telling you to do it manually rather than using the key fob. He wants you to take the cap off the drivers side handle to expose the key hole. Then use your key as he suggests. If you hold the key on unlock for long enough, all the windows will go down. If you hold the key on lock for long enough, all the windows should go up.

put the key in the drivers door, turn it till the windows goes down, leave it turned for 10 seconds then turn the key the other way to raise the windows back up then keep it turned for 10 seconds. thats it.

yes, rodent has explained it better than me.
