VCDS 2018 kodiaq

Featured Replies

I am quiet new to the forum but have been helped by linni to get speed cameras on my kodiaq edition 2018 model. I am wondering if anyone in the Leeds area can tell me what I might be able to get and if they can do it for me. I know I sound like a scrounger but a lot of this is new to me and of course I am willing to pay.  Cheers. Enfield

I have also VCDS but I am afraid I `m too far away :)

What have I done so far:

- start stop permanent disable

- seatbelt warning disable (I have reasons, always using seatbelts except maneuvering at work with trailer)

- disable overtaking on right (ACC) (left for LHD I quess)

- DRL with eyelashes

- Personalisation. Not worth trying anymore. Older models supported drive mode to be stored in driver`s account, newer models do not support it.

Was eager to get rain closing as my Superb had, but unfortunately 2019 model line is not supported anymore.

Have tried Direct acceleration - Throttle response mod, but this was too on/off behaviour for me.

RS has too many too fresh module builds, that VCDS cannot even read them yet.

Yes I think Estonia is a bit far to come😊 but thanks for everything you have done so far

Carista - can do some things and is approx £18 for module (Amazon) and free for a month - but £33 for year (approx) - maybe worth looking at the web site and see if its for you...

Its a Bluetooth dongle and an app on your phone - with a turn on / off thing

I used it on Karoq - set needle sweep, disabled start / stop (voltage), added beep on lock / unlock, fuel amount to refill, but mine being Edition had lots anyway - I also bought a dongle to Activate HBA from Kufatec in Germany

Many of my local VCDS people would not work on it as it was too new..

OBDEleven as an option too.

But in longer perspective I believe VCDS will be better option. Besides the 3 VIN version doesn`t cost too much anymore.
