I’ve got a 2017 1.6 tdi. Just checking as I’ve changed brake pads on previous cars, can anyone help with the torx bit size needed to undo the callipers? I’ve seen a few guides on YouTube for VAG pad changes but I want to be sure before attempting the job. Cheers 

Always used to be a 7 mm allen key, that was updated to a T40 torx.

If it’s the rear it’s an m14 triple square you need

You will only need that if changing the discs won't you?

Good point that was for the carrier to do the discs
