Service History Data Pull (Columbus)

Featured Replies

Hey,

Is there anyway or known hack to pull the service interval rest data from the Columbus?

My car has been service every year but it appears dealers/garages don't stamp your book anymore as I think the data is all centralised. Its been Serviced at a mix of DM Keith branches and IVC in Leeds (VAG Specialist). Before I end up calling them all up to get the Service information from them, is there a way of pulling it out without any Coding Equipment that shows at least it was 'Reset' ?.

A potential purchaser walked away from the sale of mine due to this, I can only blame myself for not chasing the guys down for them to stamp it...

They dont stamp anymore. Service records are digital these days. You should be able to get the last delaer who serviced it to send you a copy file which will show dates, mileage etc. I recently sold my S3 and that is what I produced as evidence of servicing.

Doesnt matter how many dealers have been involved as it is digitally recorded on  Skoda systems.

Thanks Sagalout

I probably assumed that the DM Keith would be logged on Skoda's system, it was the independent specialist, though they have been around 20 years so they must be doing something right

Aah , missed that point about independent dealer. They should be able to enter it especially as they are VAG, a simple call should sort it for you.

Cool, I'll have to go down that route if the pull from DM Keith Huddersfield is missing the entry from Jan 2018.
