Euro 6.... Skoda vs VW 2015

Featured Replies

So, basically, here is my problem..

My taxi licensing have the following requirements

april 1st 2022 must have euro 6

max age of car for FIRST plate is 5years

max age of car for REplate is 7 years

ive a great 2013 mk2 pre-fl 1st reg march 2013 Greenline Superb due a replate December but they will only want to plate it till march 2020.... (years fee but 3 month plate)

Looking around i see Passats on the 15 plate which ARE Euro6 but the same year Superbs are Euro 5 and i really prefer the Superb (on my 3rd)

were 2ltr superbs euro 6 on the 15 plate?

No idea but someone will know what they actually should be, but never take that for granted, look at a cars V5, Emissions, Date of Build etc.

A 2015 car could be built long before being First Registered.

15 Plate in the UK was March 2015 - September 2015.

Euro 6 had to come in late 2015.

Emissions Scandal broke late 2015 on Euro 5's 2009-2015,

New Euro 6 should have been ready for 65 plate and 16 plate.

VW were at it, cars Pre Reg, ones that should not have got First Registered were First Registered,

a 15 plate COULD get me there even IF it was Euro 5

all too complicated
