Skoda superb 3v3 SE

Featured Replies

Just got a deposit down for one of the above (30 months old) so i am not sure if i fit in the about to buy or not but here it goes first question: how can i find out the options it has by reg or vin? I have done a test drive on Saturday and i like it, I will probably go and take it on Saturday anything in particular to look for? as this is literally the last chance to change my mind😂🤣🙄.

I loved my Superb (Mk1) and I think the Mk3 is a very handsome bit of kit.  Where are you (potentially) buying it from? - it's presumably still got a bit of Manufacturer warranty left on it, so might be worth checking if you could extend this, or check what's on offer (read the small print).  It's worth doing a history check; my recent purchase flagged as having outstanding finance, but this turned out to just being the HPI site being a bit slow to update.  No need to change your mind - if you likee, then buyee 😎

Hy thanks for answering. Yes time wise would be in manuf warranty but milleage wise no... So that is that.

Just curious - If you have tried it, liked it enough to put a deposit down....

Why the hesitation? Do you think there could be something else better suited to your needs (pray share what these are) out there?

You have put a deposit down, but you don't seem to have much information about what you are buying. Why the rush? There are plenty of 2016 and 2017 Superbs listed on Autotrader, and you can check the detailed descriptions. I'm guessing it's a low price and looks like a bargain.

Some good advice from CallmeGaz. In addition, are you sure about who you are dealing with? Can you trust them?

Be very careful!

Not a rush by any means, just maybe second thoughts of what i might get myself into in terms of reliability( i like it i like it tho..:)))

In terms of specsis a SE business trim and i thought till now anyway that what it comes with is what it is, meanjng you cannot get any extras, and realized after i got home that this one had some upgrades and i want it to check what else is exactly different compared to the standard se trim.

Oh well... tomorrow i am collecting the car i rather feel like a kid that cannot wait to get his hands on a new toy:)).

What are the upgrades you’ve noticed?

Very big infotainment screen? Dead spot warning? But i only realized after... And i thought is not possible to get thise on a Se bussiness trim.

If you want to know what the SE Business spec and options are, you won't find it in the regular Superb brochure. However, there is a separate SE Business brochure covering specs and options for Superb, Octavia and Yeti here: https://www.simpsonsskoda.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/SE_Business_range_brochure_May_2014.pdf

According to a Whatcar review from August 2014 you cannot buy a new SE Business model, they can only be leased as company cars. Obviously this does not apply to used vehicles.

Taking SE trim as its base, the SE Business brings desirable options that fleet buyers demand, such as a touch-screen sat-nav and infotainment system and a DAB digital radio.

Hope this helps and good luck with the car.

Hi, i did not know that it can only be taken initialy on a lease, but i know 100% the one i am getting is/was on a lease and is a January 2017 reg on a 66 plate.

Maybe this is the reason i cannot find anywhere to decode the vin as what optional extras it has over base se business trim.

I was very curious if it has anything else that was not evident estetic. I have not shuffled te menu and settings to check every corner of it and to compare with others.

Update on about to buy... well i done it ... brought it home... done already 40 miles... happy with it!
