Is carplay an option or do all mk3's have it?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys! New to the forum! Looking to get a bigger car as the family will be growing from 1 to 2 kids in the new year. My neighbour has one and im liking the size and value for money of the Superb Estate. Would be coming from a hatchback Seat leon.

My question is, do they all have carplay? Apple lists "2016 onwards" in its model list but i get the feeling it might be an option? Is there an easy way of telling from photos on car ads? They dont always say. Our other car is an E-Golf which has carplay and its the best thing since sliced bread imo!

We have a late 15 and early 16 SE (UK) , both have Android Auto and Carplay via Smartlink.  Always best to check with the specific model though.

Smartlink! That sounds like a buzzword i could filter on. Does your car have an upgraded sterio system or is that the standard?

I don't think the base S model gets android auto/apple carplay with its hilariously small screen, pretty sure everything above that has it.
