DCC to stay on last setting

Featured Replies

Is there a way of getting the DCC to stay on individual setting permanently so that I don't have to press the button 3 times every time I start the car? I have L&K with all electric memory seat which remembers exactly how I like to sit but for some reason I can't find a way of saving the other settings as I find the standard to soft and wallowy which makes me feel sick if I leave it on normal.

many thanks for your help.

Mine saves?

How? I would want at least the sport setting if it won't save in individual ?

My settings on the DCC individual save.. but I have to press the mode button 3 times every time I start the car which is annoying!

It came like that from factory. However my car does have 3 keys and 3 profiles settings. So when you change "driver" all settings incl. DCC change for that driver. Otherwise If I put sport and come back next day its still on Sport.

+1 on wat @JackySi said -  mine always remembers/stays on Individual mode after switching the car off and on.

mine is MY17.

i have individual mode set to sporty DCC, ACC & steering.

This was mentioned recently on here, others had the same issue. Something to do with VW not wanting to be sued if there was an accident and if it was left in Eco and started coasting without it being an obvious driver choice. Depends which model year you have.

I've got mine set to individual - sport suspension, normal steering, and eco mode. I set it that way when I bought the car about 4 months ago, and it's stayed like that no problem.

I have mine set to Individual Driving Mode, the sub sections always stay the same, but whenever I re start the car the Driving Mode defaults to Normal, & I have to press the Mode button twice to get it back to my Individual setting. It’s most annoying, I just wish it would stay on the Individual setting each time I start up. Just wish there was a way to make the ‘Individual’  Driving Mode the default option. 2019 L&K 190 DSG Estate.

Yeah, mine defaults back to normal each time I switch off.

Looks like its down to the latest model years.
