I've just bought a mk1 Octavia 1.9 tdi with 154k miles and will be doing a bit of repair and maintenance over the coming months so thought it would be a good idea to join the forum!

A climbing friend took her octavia, similar age/style past 225k. Not a huge amount of work for her.

Thank you, the only major issue with it just now is that the cat needs either welding or replacing. So hopefully that will be all!

Only driven it a few times so far but loving it already! I'll do my best to take care of her.
