Pulling my hair out with this one, so is my mechanic. All these probs have happened in the last month as in not working, except the wing mirrors that seem to have a mind of their own. The car is an 08 Octavia mk2 l&k mod. Maybe got most of the problem down to the power module under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Has anyone had a problem with this unit and if so where is the best( cheapest) place to find a replacement. Definitely not Skoda.🤔👍

Start with a VCDS scan or similar. Plenty of forum members own VCDS so it might be worth contacting someone local as they might be able to do a scan for you.

There are a couple of threads in the VCDS section that should help you find someone.

Got another power panel for my Octavia ( that's the one that's been causing the problem) and my mechanic had it fitted in no time. Low and behold all back to normal. It seems these panels do cause problems as part of the power side can't be repaired. £400+ from Skoda suppliers, £35 delivered with all relays intact from a breakers called Nytro in North London. Absolutely first class.
