Aftermarket centre caps

Featured Replies

Has anybody found decent aftermarket centre caps that fit properly? Need a new set for my VRS but was hoping not to pay Superskoda prices.

Buy cheap pay twice :)

I bought a set off ebay ,the ones that say vrs and are anthracite to match the wheels and there spot on ,lets face it the actual skoda ones are crap

I bought a set of aftermarket ones from superskoda. Had the vrs logo on and they are still going strong 3 years later, unlike the genuine skoda ones.

Me too, I've had the Superskoda Monte Carlo centre caps on my black extremes for 2 years now, still look brand new.

Can't fault Superskoda for quality

Same as WayTooTall, I have the black honeycomb vRS centre caps from superskoda, been on the car now at least 4 years with no issues at all, on the plus side superskoda have a 20% off sale this weekend so get what you can B)

Fitting the Monte Carlo ones at some point when a) it stops raining, and (related) b) I can wash the car and take nice pics 4 da forum innit 👌

Any tips / tricks on everyday objects or tools to use for removal of the old ones?

If you don't want to keep the old ones, screw in a long screw into the current cap, grab it with pliers and pull. Seem to remember that is what the garage did when they changed them (as it was warranty work as the old one had corroded).

Yeah, the old ones are chipped beyond repair so thought of ruining them completely but wondered if there was a less invasive way - e.g. knife or trim tool etc.

Wheels off and push through from the other side would work but more effort.

Stick a pointed knife in them and flick them off ,thats how i did mine took two mins

Yeah, don't have the room or time for that currently.

Think the knife will have to do @Mickvrs220 🔪

Gracias
