Petrol Injector Treatment

Featured Replies

I have only recently acquired the 2016 Superb  (boot label says Engine CZEA ?). It has now done 27000 miles. The Service Record has an entry at 17035I miles (car 2 years old)  for "Carried out Flush" (£21.60) plus "Engine Flush" (£4.20) and "Petrol Injector Treatment" (£4.20).

My previous Octavia 3 (1.4tsi, DSG Petrol) had done 67,000 and never had any such work.

Any ideas as to why such work would have been done?

Someone that had the car fell for Upselling by the Service Desk employee probably.

Yeah, up selling of additives that the owners manual specifically tells you not to use.
