Subwoofer

Featured Replies

Hi.

Someone have the mesurement how big the sparewheel subwoofer is? And is it a integrated amplifier?

I going to take away my spare and build a storage compartment, but still wanna have the subwoofer.

1. Going to build a fram for it.

Or

2. Build an own subwoofer, and for that i need to know if its just signals going to the subwoofer.

I went to skoda and just got a short amount of time to check it out. It were really light, so an integrated amplifier I dont belive it is.. 🤔

Also looking for how big is the boot without sparewheel and styrofoam. If someone have the mesurement? 5 seater.

It looks to be identical to the size of the inside of the spare wheel? If you've already got a spare wheel you can measure it?

Thanks for good pictures.

I will get my car in a few weeks, but started to build my box.

Looks like a 17" wheel?

Not that thick, airwents on top. Hmm.

I belive a frame will do untill and some experimentell with compartment size around it. i do belive it will be resonans.

18" i mean..

Off topic, no Edit Button for my posts? 🤔

I have a woofer but no spare wheel, so there must be an original foam part for subwoofer on the market. Maybe helps to build.

Unfortunately I don`t have time to look for a part number hurrying to the plane.

Nice, thanks!

Looks handy. What is under the big foam piece? Or is it just alot of foam? 🤔

I think variabel bootlid will be avaible from skoda in short.

@linni off topic question, but if you remove the battery cover, do the battery terminals sit proud of all the foam? I'm interested in making a false floor that's the entire length of the boot.

All naked battery under the cover.

So if you take the cover off, it’s completely flat?

No, battery staring lonely in the middle of the trunk. Total spacewaster.

Cannot take picture until Monday as I am abroad right now.
