Camping in the Octy Estate!

Featured Replies

Lower than an Alhambra, Yeti, Kodiaq type thing would be low.

But then if people are short, maybe high enough.   Head for thinking and feet for dancing.

Not the cheapest? I've just googled it, and Skycamp want $3,899 for their base model! 😮

I've used an Autohome wedge style one for a week before....not at all cheap as you say but bluddy brilliant for touring! Especially if the ground isn't always suitable for pitching a tent.

Outdoor revolution movelite is a cost effective drive away awning that would suit your needs. Can also get attachments for the inside if you decide to sleep in the awning/need something more private to change in.

For blinds maybe consider thermal foam cut to size and slide into place at night time.

Leisure battery ia easy to do with a split charge system,  but I would be concerned about where you would out it and how you would get enough ventilation for when you are driving and charging it. What would you need it for?

Maybe consider USB Led strip lights and a few decent power banks? Would be safer and take up less space?

Nice. I'd love something like this esp on top of a Defender.

Not very good for a roof with a 100kg weight limit on the fixed bars. Kinda limits the market for this concerning Skodas.

That's a driving weight for safety. Once you are parked up, I don't suppose it matters if you stick 300kg on top of the car! :)
