Aircon?

Featured Replies

Slightly daft question, perhaps, but how do I tell if my a/c is working at full capacity? When I turn it on it takes a few mins before there's any noticeable cooling effect and even so, it's not a massive difference. Thing is, the Furby has 'Climatic' temp control doesn't it, so how do we know it's not just warming it slightly to maintain the temperature?

Thanks,

It works on cabin temperature, unlike basic air con, a sort of cross between that and full climate control. So if your cabin is coolish already it wont cool the air fully

But generally if you have it on full cold with the a/c on it should get drn chilly. Around 5-6 degrees is considered to be fine.

I've got a photographic thermometer I'll stick in the airflow for a few mins next time I'm in the car. Cheers. :)
