Driver Window Switch

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Today I noticed that my switch in the driver's door doesn't open the front passenger window, only can close it.  Does this mean I have to replace the entire block of switches?  This is a left side drive car, does anyone know where I can get a part shipped internationally?

Cheers,

B

All Kodiaq's are still under three years old, is your car not under warranty?

How long is the manufacturers warranty in Israel?

I've heard competing information from 2-3 years.

I found the switch for $10 though.

Only the very first Kodiaq's are reaching their 3rd birthday here in the UK. Our warranty is 3 years / 60,000 miles. This was why I was wondering what the situation was in Israel, as there was a chance you could have had the repair done for free, under the manufacturers warranty.

Glad you got it sorted though, I assume it was indeed a faulty switch?

We have a paltry 2 year warranty, the replaced window switch doesn't have the one press to lower the window all of the way, chances are that means it won't break again.  All in all for $10 the switch from AliExpress worked well.

With my previous Yeti and I suspect the Kodiaq will be the same, to reset the one touch operation close window then hold switch up in closed position again for a second or two, a click will be heard. One touch operation should now work.
