Skoda karoq ( handbrake)

Featured Replies

Hi I'm posting this on behalf of My Father who has a karoq (3 weeks old)

He's very pleased with the vehicle but he told me today that the brakes does not activate when the car stops. ( this was working up until last night)

The handbrake is working in between the two front seats.

Has he disabled Auto Hold via the centre console button?

Hi thanks for getting back in touch.

I explained to him if he disabled auto hold.

He told me would it be the button down by the gear stick. With letter A.

Easily done. My wife and I went through a stage where we were sharing driving duties, one of us turned it on, the other turned it off, each one of us forgetting when we got back behind the wheel, wondering why the brakes weren't behaving as they did before.
