Honestly, the aftermarket only really does firmer upgrades - or at least I don't know of any 'comfort' upgrades. The best think you can do is check your springs, struts, suspension bushes etc., as they will have worn out over time and will make all the difference in terms of comfort. Some of the earlier mk2's were known for snapping springs in the rear, so I'd start there!

thanks for your reply looks like my suspension has been on this car since new and going of you info I think I will be getting new oem Skoda suspension kit to replace my old stuff

I had 1 of my front springs snap the other week so have been slowly purchasing the bits I need and refreshing some things at the same time.

All parts that I have got/am getting are not the cheapest, but work out cheaper than from skoda.

Bilstein b4 shock absorber £204 and front bilstein b3 springs for £76 from tdcautomotive on Ebay. I already replaced the rear springs this time last year but you can get a full set of B3s for £129. (Prices direct from Bilstein are a few pounds more than Ebay.

Meyle HD front anti roll bars for £30 Ebay

Febi bilstein top mounts, bearings, nuts and bolts all round. £70 Ebay

Febi bilstein front bump stops £13 Ebay

Replaced rear bump stops this time last year with a Meyle set for £15 ebay

Good on you. It will be like a brand new car when you replace all the bushings. Awfully painful job to do but worth it in the long run if you're planning on keeping the car.

Koni yellow sports on their softest setting are really good.  Their initial bump compliance is really well valved to they don't jar.
