I'm finding I need to use more revs to pull off in the octavia than i did in my old car. I put it down to not having as much torque very low down.

Hi,

Had similar problem with my Octavia and it turned out the MAF needed replacing. I would get it swapped and see if that helps. Not a cheap part if you are out of warranty. No faults were shown on the computer.
