Anyone for a new Lada?

If you don't give two hoots about cars(buyer 1) would you just get any old second car instead of a new one?

Not necessarily...I believe this would be split into two sub-groups...those who don't care about cars so buy any old shed, and those who don't care about cars so they buy the cheapest warrantied new car so they don't have to worry about things breaking (or at least sorting them when they do).

Personally I suspect the latter category is larger - if you really don't care about something, the last thing you'd want to do would be dealing with it if it's old and unreliable and potentially could cost a fortune to get repaired...
