Does anyone know what model DSG is used in the Kodiaq with the 2.0 l/132 kW TSI engine?  I'm just curious as the common DSG's used with small engines are not rated for the torque that this engine produces.

I may have found my own answer in a review article dated October 2018, which states:

"It's a DQ381 wet-clutch unit shared with the the Golf R, replacing the DQ500 previously used in the Kodiaq (mmm, model numbers)"

My Kodiaq is a May 2019 build so I guess I have the DQ381, if they have their information correct.  I might grab an OBDeleven to double check for myself.

As of MY18, the 132kW/140kW TSI engine has the DQ381.

Mine was MY2019 and had DQ500.

From VCDS.

Must be a carryover since we still get the 132TSI. The 140TSI has the DQ381.
