Featured Replies

Hi all, i've got an issue with my 2012 octavia scout for some time Ive had an intermittent fault where the ABS ESP warning lights would come on this usually cleared itself but occasionally it required the codes clearing, however now the lights are on permanently, and i cant clear the  following codes:

  • Brake Electronics Control Module (J104) faulty

  • Check/Replace Brake Electronics Control Module (J104)
  •

  • 01316 - ABS Control Module

    01316 - ABS Control Module: No Signal/Communication

    Possible Causes

    • Fault(s) stored in ABS Control Module

    Possible Solutions

    • Check Wiring/Connector(s) from/to ABS Control Module
    • Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
      • Usually Measuring Value Blocks (MVB) 125+ show the current Communication Status

All wheel drive system

  • 00625 Vehicle speed sensor

Has anyone come across this issue before ? or able to give me any pointers?

Thanks in advance

I'd suggest checking the front left abs sensor, it's wiring and also the reluctor ring.

Hi, sorry i should have said Ive replaced the LHF wheel sensor, i couldn't see a reluctor ring, is it part of the drive shaft?

I know the rear reluctor rings are built into the hub but I'm not sure about the fronts.

@Tech1e - might be able to offer some advice.
