With this coding, do the DRL work in any position?

Have you checked they are turned on in the maxidot/instrument cluster? If there is no DRL option then you might need to use the indicator method to enable them...

DRL in foglight wont work. In maxidot i turn on but DRL shine on in any position. I have foghlight where is fog bulb and drl bulb separate. With vcds i can set that foghlight shine as drl and work but i dont wont that i want that DRL shine as DRL.

Sorry - I think things might be getting confused.

With the coding I posted and DRL activated in the maxidot:

- is the DRL always on or off?

- are there any fault codes or bulb out warnings?

BYTE 18 must be set to 31(  skoda superb kombi with separate drls) ? i dont have xenon

It could be a byte 18 issue but I wouldn't suggest changing byte 18 from 00 as that's likely to cause more problems rather than solve them.

Might be worth finding a VCP or ODIS-e user that understands the lighting configuration and checking that for clues.

No, byte 0, bit 4 does not need selecting.

The following both have functioning DRL in my Octavia:

- 48000AB8E05BB1C040080080110001E4437000AE726D85605C8440000040 (stock)

- 48000AB8E85BB1C0C0080088310091E443F800FE736D8560648440000040 (latest, various mods)

MAYBE OCTAVIA AND SUPERB HAVE SAME CODING?

The coding will be similar as they use the same style of BCM, there will be differences due to equipment etc...

At least in terms of the DRL, I can't see anything obvious that would stop them working with the code I suggested earlier.

I try but without succes

Here is the coding for my car, I have auto headlights and I also have the following settings:

leaving home lights

coming home lights activated by door opening

DRL with dedicated lamps on fog lights

DRL deactivated when indicator active ("wink" feature)

DRL active only when headlight switch in "auto" position

If you don't have auto headlights and you want the DRL to always be on when headlight switch is in "off" position you should only need to tick:

byte 15 bit 6

byte 15 bit 7

Here are screenshots from VCDS from my car (note the extra settings I have enabled, these might not be to your taste)
