I am trying to run a cable for charging my phone from the glove box to the small opening box below the light switch on the drivers side. 

I am looking at removing the glovebox and going straight behind the dashboard by the radio and past the steering wheel bottom cowling to it but struggling to work out how the box comes out. Glovebox

Undo about 6 screws and it pretty much falls out...

 

Three along the top, two at the bottom and one at the side if I remember correctly.

 

Watch out for the airbag switch, glovebox light and vent (if fitted). If you disconnect the airbag switch with the battery connected, you'll get an airbag warning light which will clearing with an appropriate too.
