Hi i have škoda octavia 2006 mark1 1.9tdi diesel i have a problem in takeoff it takes off very slow and wont change any gear (i think its in 3rd gear) ichecked the gear oil and its fine i did a scanner test it say vehicle speed sensor is that the problem?? Please help

Need a bit more info before anyone can help with this..

Is it a manual or automatic?

What is the engine code?

(ALH,AGR etc)

What was the fault code shown on the scan?

Have you noticed any other problems before this? Has it gotten worse slowly, or suddenly?

 

 

Automatic agr the falut say(vehicle’s speed sensor) it was before a little bit slow on takeoff and then change gear then there was a gear oil leak i changed it and after thayt it didnt change i think it take off and stay on3rd gear

Okay, i dont know anything about the autobox...

But, theres more than one speed sensor...  wheel speed sensors and engine speed sensors.

Was there a "P****" code number too which will identify what one its pointing to?

 

 

I think the engine because the car wont ahow in any apeed im i it stays on 0
