Headlight range module for AFS system

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Always thankful to your continuous help and support.

My vehicle has the headlight range module number 5M0 907 357 C, and I wonder if I need to upgrade to 7P6907357A to get the AFS work dynamically as the road bend. Please note that my car has xenon and dual leveling sensor.

Thanks!

5M0 907 357 C module should support bending lights.

It would have been the factory installed module and works as expected for me.

Do I need to have a certain software level on my BCM to get this option work?

I tried the 1K0 937 087 (SW 358) and the 1K0 937 087 J (SW 615) and no luck so far.

Not that I'm aware of, it just needs the AFS master to be correctly coded and to be enabled in the maxidot to work.

I'm not sure if the BCM is involved at all. When I retrofitted factory xenons, only one bit in the BCM coding changed and that was for the bulb monitoring.

My maxidot speedometer is 1Z0920843F. So, what should I do to enable it in my maxidot?

Assuming the AFS master is correctly coded, it should just appear under assistants. Again, I don't think there is anything special required.
