New superb leaking

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am user of new Superb ambition 2.0 (bought 4 months ago). I just found out recently, (as became colder), when I park in the garage,  the superb is leaking from the back-left side from the car. I put down piece of paper, and it seems to me that is pure water (no smell, no color). I read somewhere that in the previous versions of Superb, people made holes in the exhaust, so the condensate water could escape from the exhaust. I made a picture from the below, and there is clearly  hole made by the producer (not some random made hole).

Also, after my last feeling up of petrol, I noticed that the fuel indicator didn't raise. It only started to increase after a while. Never happened in the first months, when I started to drive the car.

Anybody has experienced these issues? Some recommendations would be great.

On the fuel. if you only put a bit in the tank then it take a little while to get back up to pressure

When ever I have courtesy car and put a gallon in the needle barely move for the first minute or so

Does your car have a sunroof?

I don't have a sunroof on my Superb, but some cars have drain tubes from the sunroof which go down the front and back roof pillers.

Could be water draining out from the sunroof?

Mine has a small hole in the exhaust which lets condensate out - I guess others have this but may not have noticed if car is standing outside.
