  • Between 2011 & 2017, ten Briskoda members secured 16" wheels on Yeti models that would otherwise have been supplied with 17" wheels.  (16" was standard on S models, 17" was standard on SE & SE

I have had my most ugly comic (each to there own) Kamiq since Thursday 21/11 and what a surprise so refined. The 18in wheels you would not think you had them on more like 16s so smooth over speed bumps and no crashing or bottoming.

Good news for me with the wheels. Have you noticed a lot of tyre noise on coarse tarmac and concrete motorways though. This was a nightmare a few years ago when i had an Octavia with low profile tyres and I've tried to go for the smallest wheel with the most rubber ever since!

Wheel noise is noticeable but not as bad as the Karoq with 17's on. What tyres are you on. there is only 10mm /1cm difference in tyre wall size from 17's. they are not classed as low profile 4.5 cm are.   5cm are not so my Tyre fitter friend says ? And i have noticed there is no carpet on the inside of the rear wheel arch

It was a few years back on 2012 Octavia but I think they were low profile tyres as well.

@skoda1982

If you see a tyre that is 205/45 R 17 or a tyre 215/45 R 17, maybe 225/45 R 17 the 45 bit for the profile means the sidewall is 45 percent of the width.

So 45 % of 205, 215 or 225.

Sorry, no it's just fug;ly. Should have been christened Comic.

whats 'fugly'? seems like you dont like  it. Is it the front end?  I think lights could have been better styled. Anyway I will live with it as have one on order.

chuffin ugly ! Too tall, small wheels, lousy lighting design on the front, over proportioned. Just bad. Sorry.

Just as well it is just a car and a means of transport for when people are allowed out and about.

At least it will never be mistaken as a Taxi / Private Hire or Airport Transport as the larger Skoda's often are.

You bought your Superb for it's beauty? :D

I drive both an Octavia and Karoq. If aesthetics were a priority, I wouldn't be seen dead in either.

Yes I did and it's a darn sight better looking than that dogs breakfast of a car. Comic, how apt.

Slow and boring you say....?

^^^^ Drive it like it was stolen, or is leased as so many are.

Capable and boring.

I think Jason driving my Superb hatch would have been a low 49 second lap at least.:tongueout:

Who said the Superb was slow and boring?

Slow it is not, boring it could very well be.

The Kamiq may well divide opinion on its aesthetics, but it is fair to say no one is going to try flagging one down on a Saturday night...

Škoda SuperB(vm.2013)apukuskin puoleiset ovet ei toimi. Onko vinkkejä/vikadiagnoosia?

SuperB (2013 model) passenger side doors don't work. Any tips/troubleshooting?

Can you please use an online translation tool to post in English going forward 👍

Voisitko käyttää online-käännöstyökalua julkaistaksesi englanniksi jatkossa? 👍

@MLK-384 As @Lee01 says; It would also help gain attention if you start a new thread for a new topic rather than resurrecting a seemingly random thread that's several years old.

Škoda Superb,2013 STW

.Problem remains; Right side doors(central locking/windows) not working. Any ideas or experience of solving this kind of a problem?
