Passenger side day time running light not working

Featured Replies

The day time running light has stopped working on the passenger side changed the bulb still no joy tested the old bulb works fine.

The wire is white with a red tracer and reasonable thick so im guessing a connection rather than a broken wire [but not ruling it out] have any of you guys had a similar problem ?

Do you know where the connector plugs are ?

I found a wiring diag on the net but it don't show the lighting circuits any body got one ? I can have please or a place to look.

Possibly unrelated but on the odd occasion it misfires but don't show error code only done it 4 times

So had a look at this today got a delphi diagnostic tool on the car to read fault codes but didn't show any ???

Rang a mate hes got Launch diagnostic tool which showed a fault code 01496 cleared the code light works fine

so I guess a skoda that would be £70/80 to have the bulb changed.

I have changed other bulbs B 4 and the warning light went off with out the code clearing
