octy mk 3 tsi vrs.

Featured Replies

Can anyone help,i have just brought a 2016 rallye green octy vrs tsi, absolutely fab car and drive experience except for one thing, sometimes, but not always I get an audiable warning "bloop" like noise from side door speakers and not from the radio area, the dealership did not know what it is and nothing in the handbook tells you.

I have read previous threads and as this is m y 5th skoda I know it is not the outside temp sensor!!!!

when it makes the sound if the radio is on it drops the sound very briefly like 5 seconds.  it sometimes will not do it for ages then another time it does it 2 or 3 times in as many minutes.

Sounds like you are pressing the voice control button, it then waits for a response?

Are you near any speed cameras at the time? It sounds to me like you have POI's selected to alert you of speed cameras, it may have been installed by the previous owner, its selected through your "NAV" menu.

It's definitely not the voice control,I will check on the nav settings but i have not been near any cameras as far as i know .thanks.

There's a speed warning facility that can be set in the MFD, and also a winter tyre speed warning. I can't remember if they bloop at you...
