Car went in for a service was told that the front bushes were deteriorating. Knocking and start to cause inner tyre tread wear. Was quoted about £570 for new arms and ball joint. 

 

Are there any bushes that are definitely the same quality or better than skoda original? Eg polyurethane? Would you recommend fitting them individually or replacing the arms and ball joint completely? 

 

I've been trying to read about it. And it appears there might be 2 bushes on each side at the front because there are 2 different arms or something? Also someone mentioned about replacing the droplink as well.

 

It's hard for me to judge because I don't understand whats wrong, I can get quoted prices atm but that's about it. 

 

 

My local VAG specialist recommends Powerflex - got them fitted on my car. No problems.
