Hi,

 

Just saying hello and introducing myself and our new car.

 

My wife and I are both in our early 50's and have had all sorts of vehicles over the years, however more recently we had 2x BMW Mini.

 

We've had our new Scala (SEL 1.0 115ps DSG) for a few weeks now and loving it. Our last Skoda was Fabia back in 2000, my parents in-law have a fabia2 and my parents had a brand new 110R back in the 70's, so not really new to Skoda cars. This one is so much more refined and modern in every way! Particularly with the Sports Seats and Black Interior etc! 

 

This car is a replacement for my wife's old car, as she does the mileage, however I'm looking to change vehicles sometime next year and considering a Skoda for myself.

 

Incidentally, we've just clocked up 1000 miles during a long motorway trip (7hrs) and achieved an average of 50.4 MPG! 

 

I'm looking forward to getting involved in this forum.
