Gap insurance?

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just joined after having my last vehicle stolen (Seat Leon). About to take delivery of a 66' Superb Estate  Sportline.

Totally paranoid about vehicle theft now so I've been looking at ALA gap insurance, but I'm confused.

Should I be looking at Vehicle Replacement Plus or Back to Invoice?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the totally paranoid club! 😁

Hi.

Just to let you know that we offer a 12 month product called Total Loss Protection. Whilst it's not exactly the same as your traditional GAP insurance we feel for some customers it can make a cost effective alternative.

Please feel free to take a look if you wish.

I've used them twice and on both occasions their pricing was unbeatable and their customer service is also excellent.  As an example, they called me a few months after taking out a policy to say that 'something' (I can't recall what it was exactly) had rendered my policy to be cheaper in comparison to what I had paid (I already had a discount as a Briskoda member), they retrospectively applied the discount and refunded me the difference.

No affiliation to them etc etc.

I recently changed my car and I took out Gap insurance ... Peace of mind.  I also did GAP when we brough a Zafira VXR in 2008.  I based my decision on the value of the car

Well worth it just took out a policy with gapinsurance.co.uk on my lease Karoq was £97.00 all in for 4 year policy to go back to invoice and up to £2000 for next deposit, fantastic service
