Wow, it was only posted yesterday. Someone was quick! :)

 

Well I learned that if you want one tyre, get all seasons. If you are prepared to swap, get summer AND all seasons and don't bother with winter tyres unless you live in an area where it snows.

He was doing quite well until his last comments @11.20 , 1 day snow every 2 years.   We know places like that.... Leave the car that day then.

It is a location location location thing.

His location was coming out the straight and around a turn. Like happens when you drive.

 

Then the Average Temperature for your area and the 7 degrees, and the tunnel and straight line stopping.

Problem with Weather Forecasts and car temp indicators is that is not Ground / Grass frost temp and road temps, and black ice might well be on corners and in dips where the air temp is plus 4*oC and no 'warning' of ice. 

 

Much variation the length and width of the UK, and even a few miles of travelling, and today or the next, or next week.

If only all roads were straight and the road temp the same as the air temp.
